hi, just want to know; as i am building my own unfiltered UV light box to burn silk screens with, what exactly are ABCD & E? are they ballasts or soldered wires?

The exposure unit I made doesn't use a separate ballast or soldering. All you need are the light kits from home depot, 4 20 watt bulbs, a power chord and switch from an electric/light store, wire clippers, and wire nuts or "wire nails" as we call them on the diagram. The light kits include ballasts so all you're doing is connecting the power chord to the light fixtures and then connecting those wires to the ON/OFF switch.

Hey! We got the lights at Lowes. Not sure the brand but any fluorescent light kit will do. You can use any type, I just recommend an even and strong light (florescent).

I want to thank you not only for your great instructions but also your upbeat energy. I have built my own table for stained glass painting and am dying to get started. I had a bit of a modification on your design for ight bulb changing but other than that your hand drawn wiring sketch kept me from having to ask for help. Thank you!
